Marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of
Khalid Shoman –Darat Alfunun Foundation, Palestine within its artists,
researchers, cultural centers and national institutions celebrates Darat Al
Funun and its significant role in the Arab cultural scene and the Palestinian
specifically, highlighting the immense and uninterrupted mutual relationship.
Throughout the series of events taking place in
Jerusalem, Gaza, Ramallah and Bethlehem, we are opening the window of hope, not
only to present the important and precious experience of the cultural institutions’
work that serves as the other lung in the other side of the bank, but to also
show the history of relations between Darat Al Funun and Palestine.
Additionally, to contribute in maintaining and enhancing a fruitful cooperation
for now and the future.
